- Start by applying heat protection and blow-drying your hair completely dry for best results. - Section the hair
- Divide your hair into sections. This will create smoother waves and make styling easier. - Squeeze, release, repeat
- Place a section of hair between the cylinders, hold for 5–8 seconds, release and move down the length. - Vary the time for a more natural look
- Want that relaxed beachy feel? Keep each section for a different length of time and feel free to leave the ends out for a more "undone" finish. - Let cool – then finish
- Do not touch the hair directly. Let the waves cool completely before styling. Then gently comb with Your Comb for a soft, shiny look.

Start closer to the scalp and angle the tongs slightly outwards from the face – this gives both lift and a nice face-framing effect.
