Meet Bird of Paradise, a Limited Edition of Your Hair Brush created by Molimenti Hair together with Margareta Grääs.

This is Molimenti's very first design collaboration. For us, it was important not just to create a new hairbrush in a new color. We wanted to create something personal, with a thought behind every detail.

The result is Bird of Paradise. A hairbrush inspired by growth, patience, and what happens when we take care of something a little bit every day.

Just like with hair.

Margareta Grääs is one of Sweden's biggest beauty profiles and has built up a great deal of trust over many years through her genuine interest in beauty, her knowledge, and her honesty. But for us, it's also about a relationship that goes way back.

Margareta has used Your Hair Brush since we launched our very first brush in 2020. Over the years, she has continued to use it, genuinely recommended it to her followers, and made Your Hair Brush a part of her own hair routine.

Therefore, a collaboration with Margareta felt very natural. When the idea of creating something together began to grow, we didn't want to change what had made Your Hair Brush a favorite. Instead, we wanted Margareta to put her own stamp on it.

And when she presented her idea and talked about her burning interest in plants, we immediately thought: But of course. That's exactly what we should do.

One of Margareta's favorite plants, Strelitzia Nicolai, became the starting point. That's where the design process began, which would eventually become Bird of Paradise, our very first Limited Edition Your Hair Brush created together with Margareta Grääs.

The story behind Bird of Paradise

Strelitzia Nicolai, also called Bird of Paradise, is a plant that, with the right conditions, can grow large, strong, and incredibly beautiful. But it takes time. It needs care, the right conditions, and consistency.

Somewhere there, we also found the perfect connection to what Molimenti Hair is all about. Hair health.

Because when we talk about how to get longer, stronger, and healthier hair, there is rarely a single product or a quick fix. It's about what we do again and again. How we wash our hair. How we protect it. How we brush it. How much damage it's exposed to. And what tools we choose to use every day.

What we consistently take care of has a better chance of growing stronger over time. That became the core of Bird of Paradise.

Your Hair Brush in a brand new design

Beneath the green botanical design is the same Your Hair Brush that forms the basis of Molimenti Hair.

The brush combines boar bristles and flexible nylon pins to detangle the hair while the boar bristles help distribute the hair's natural oils from the scalp through the lengths. The rounded nylon pins also stimulate the scalp when you brush.

Your Hair Brush is designed to be part of your daily hair care routine and help reduce unnecessary damage when detangling your hair. Because when the goal is longer, stronger, and healthier hair, what you do with your hair every day plays a bigger role than you might think.

Which hairbrush is best for your hair?

There isn't one hairbrush that's best for all hair types and all uses. But if you want to detangle your hair gently, reduce unnecessary damage, and also take care of your scalp, both the brush's construction and how you use it play a big role.

Your Hair Brush combines two types of bristles. The flexible nylon pins help to detangle the hair and get through the lengths, while boar bristles help to distribute the hair's natural oils from the scalp throughout the hair.

The rounded pins also provide stimulation to the scalp when you brush. That's why we see the hairbrush as part of hair care, not just as a tool to remove tangles.

Can the right hairbrush help you grow longer hair?

A hairbrush cannot make hair grow faster from the follicle. But if you are trying to grow longer hair, there is another important part of the equation:

The hair must also have the chance to maintain its length. If the lengths are constantly exposed to unnecessary damage and hair strands break off, it can feel like the hair never gets longer, even though new hair continues to grow from the scalp. That's why the small things in your daily life play a big role. How you brush your hair is one of them.

How to brush your hair without damaging it?

Technique is at least as important as the hairbrush itself. If your hair is tangled, avoid starting at the scalp and pulling the brush all the way through the lengths. Instead, start at the very ends and work your way up gradually.

But beneath the design is the same idea as always. That what you do with your hair every day matters. Bird of Paradise is a hairbrush designed to be used every day, but perhaps a little too beautiful to hide away in a drawer.
